Installing Plugins for iMovie 2.1.1 OS X

Hello,

I am having problems installing the iMovie 2.1 Plugin pack for OS X. I 
have iMovie 2.1.1 and am running Mac OS X 10.1.5 on a Blue and White G3. 
I highlighted the iMovie app and selected SHOW INFO and this brought up 
the Plugins popup menu but when I click add plugins I can add the new 
effects but they do not show up when iMovie 2.1.1 is loaded? Why is this?
