Steve, Why do you not swear by Canon? You see am debating whether to get a Canon ZR-40 versus a Sony TRV-18 and am wondering why the Sony DV model is $350.00 more. Is the picture quality really that good? Where I would love to go totally Sony it is hard when they charge so much for there products (probably due to advertising). Chris
