Amen to that. We pay these heavy prices for plug and play beauty and the all of a sudden they start this nickel and dime thing. It's a strange turn of corporate culture to be sure. What I really don't get is why they used to run all these ads with a GL -1 plugged into a TiBook, and then turn around and (until now) basically make it impossible for you to burn with one... using their really nifty simplified app. Really what were they thinking? Was that ad meant for only George Lucas? Never mind that fact that the stuff is really expensive, but honestly how many people can afford the luxury of a good laptop and a tower... But hey at the end of the day, you can pry it from my cold dead hands...
