I disagree. I value the opinions and expertise so openly shared on these forums. I want to know what others think about fair copyright use. The forum may be called "Digital Video", but video includes audio (ever seen a feature film without music, then with the music?). As long as the subject line contains "OT" to indicate it may be off topic for those only concerned with tech discussions, I think it's appropriate. The whole internet swapping of feature films is coming to a head and it all trickles down to us eventually. My 2 cents. -DC On Monday, July 14, 2003, at 05:02 PM, Macintosh Digital Video List wrote: > > Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2003 09:28:33 -0700 > Subject: [MacDV] Re: Music Sharing (was OT: AAC > MP3) > From: Creed Erickson <creed at mac.com> > Message-Id: <360164BC-B618-11D7-A724-000393CC5A10 at mac.com> > > At the risk of sounding rude, hasn't this strayed a little too far > from the intended topic of this list-- Digital Video???
