[MacDV] ForMac studio ???? Work????

I have a Formac that I'm using quite successfully, but I'm a little confused
about your question. Can you play the movie that you've recorded from the
Formac in iMovie after you've finished recording and disconnected the
Formac? Is the problem that you can't play the iMovie back to the VHS when
outputting by way of the Formac (Formac is between the VHS and the Mac)?

One thing I found out after corresponding with Formac support right after I
got mine is that you need the OS X software for the TV version of the Formac
even if you don't have the model that includes the TV tuner. The web site
didn't make that clear at that time (not sure if it does now). If you don't
install that software, the Formac will not work right, although my problems
with the device before installing the software were only related to audio
capture in iMovie, not the problems you describe.
