We Stock PARTS! <http://www.macresq.com> Yes the problem is that even though iMovie recognizes the Formac as a camera it can export to , the export just doesn’t seem to be taking place . I don’ t have a TV hooked up , but the configuration is , as you mentioned , the formac between the computer and a vhs recorder. I've had the recorder running in record mode when I've attempted this . The documentation says it should be in Aux mode , well it's 14 years old and I don’t have a aux socket or switch . I will however try to get the soft ware you mentioned , thanks for your input Mac McMahon
