There's a new KB article that deals with this at <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93274> Under Topic it says, "While iDVD 3.0.1 and later can be used on any PowerPC G4-or G5-based Macintosh model to create DVD content, the option to burn the finished DVD is only available on computers with a built-in SuperDrive." It goes on to say you can burn it using iDVD if you copy everything over to a Mac with a built-in SuperDrive. However, it doesn't specifically state that there's no other way to do it. Just reading the article I get the impression that maybe Apple is opening up iDVD to author DVDs which can be burned using iDVD and a built-in SuperDrive, or 3rd party drives and burning software. IMO that would be a way for Apple to make iDVD available to everyone and not have to change any licensing deals with respect to burning capabilities. -Mike
