Yeah, it's pretty dumb to have a miniDV camera without a FireWire port -- a place I used to work at gave me an old one they bought when they first came out and it doesn't have a FireWire port. Needless to say I never use it. :-( It's a JVC (I don't even know where it is anyway)...
