Hi Ray, Have you tried calling Adobe technical support directly? They can be very helpful. I have a feeling this is just a Device Control Options settings problem. The camera should work. I have Adobe Premiere 6.5 and importing from my Sony DCR-TRV900 camcorder was a snap. I suggest you go to the device control settings dialog box and choose a similar model number. Sony's device control protocol is similar across all their models isn't it? There are "Standard", "Alternate 1" and "Alternate 2" choices that should yield success. The Premiere support team at Adobe might even know which device model setting is right for your newer model. Call them for direct help to get that dialog box set right. Hey. There's a "Go Online for Device Info" button at the bottom of that dialog box. That leads to a PDF of compatible devices. Sorry, yours isn't listed. But I still think you can get it working with the right setting. Have you tried the above generic choices? Sorry if you said before. Did read all of this string. Dropping in at this point. k "iPod Car Stereo AUX-In Accessory Beats FM Transmitters Hands Down" <http://www.ipod-zone.com> "iChatStatus Adds iTunes Song Playing To Your Buddy ID " <http://www.osx-zone.com> "T-Minus 1 Week And Counting" <http://www.apple-zone.com> On Thursday, June 19, 2003, at 06:37 AM, Craig Busch wrote: > Ray, > I suggest you ask your question to a Premiere only forum that has I > think 7 hosts: > > www.creativecow.net > > Go to the Premiere forum and ask. > > Most people work on windows machines there, but I would like to think > that Premiere device control would be the same for Mac and Windows. > I didn't see which version of Premiere you have.
