You know everyone can go back and forth on this... the bottom line is  
who really cares?

You are either going to buy a PC cause it's cheap... or a Mac because  
they have better packaging...

IMO the difference in performance is not ever so significant that any  
Mac user would suddenly be "Oh my gosh I gotta get a PC!"

Unless of course you are working on genome decoding... in which case  
you use a Dell anyway dude...
