You can usually get better quality with QuickTime for computer playback. You wouldn't be able to play a CD-ROM with QuickTime files on a set-top DVD player, but you could play VCDs and SVCDs on both your computer (using VLC player) *and* a set top player, and SVCDs rival DVDs in quality but can be burned onto CD-Rs. > Should I buy iVCD ?
