The OfficeMax DVD-R's are KHypermedia brand. These are the same brand that
MicroCenter has advertised occasionally at $4.99 for a 5-pack.  I've
successfully burned 4-5 of these KHypermedia discs using an external Cendyne
(Pioneer DVR-105).  They played successfully in my iMac's DVD-ROM and my
Panasonic standalone player.  The only coaster I've produced so far was my
fault, not the disc.  Just my experience, your mileage may vary.
