[MacDV] Re: MPEG-2 file editor?

Actually, QuickTime Pro by itself does not open MPEG-2, you also need 
the MPEG-2 component, which is a separate item to purchase from Apple 
to simply allow viewing of MPEG-2 video.  So it doesn't allow editing 
of MPEG-2...  (as far as I know).

Chas, what you need is an app to *edit* the MPEG-2 file (as in the 
subject of  your original post), and you really don't want to decode -> 
edit -> re-encode, cause that'll look awful.

I wish I could think of an app to do this, but unfortunately, I 
can't...  [sorry]

Anybody else?
