Rubin has another book called The Little Digital Video Book that is good. It isn't geared towards any specific hardware or software but I found it to be an excellent guide. Amazon.com interviewed him about it at: <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/feature/-/237817/104-0553694-9247112> They also have online 39 pages of the book so you can get a pretty good sampling: <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0201758482/ref=lib_dp_sp_1/10 4-0553694-9247112?v=glance&s=books&vi=slide-show#reader-link> > Thinking that I may want to buy FCE I also bought Michael Rubin's > Beginners Final Cut Pro but since I don't have the program yet I find > it hard to get much useful information from reading it. It's definitely a hands-on book. Basically a tutorial to help you get the basics of FCP (or FCE). By far the best way to get your feet wet.
