As far as I know, all cameras record the noise they make. How can they help doing that? I expect the issue is more about how much noise the camera makes, though maybe some cameras place the built-in mic in a position that minimizes noise more than others. This particular item has been mentioned for all of the ZR series of Canon cameras I believe.
