Separating clips?

I've got about 10 minutes of raw DV video with about 100 short clips on it.
I've noticed that there is a button in iMovie that automatically when
importing creates a new clip in the bin for each "break in the sequence".

Does anyone know if I can also do that in Premiere? (I do not have device
control for this particular camera, and batch capture doesn't seem to fit
what I'm trying to do.)

I could do this all manually, but breaking this footage into many small
clips initially would help the process.
