FCP "general error"

I've got a project in FCP and am trying to re-render it.
However when I reconnect the media (the qt file) I keep getting a  
"general error" and a red screen in the preview...

The Qt file runs fine... I've tried the variable of having the files on  
different drives...
any thoughts? Or do I have to recapture?
