I don't know that you can import a protected AAC audio file into iMovie 2 --
I use iMovie 3, and haven't tried it.
In any case, here's a workaround: burn the music you bought to a CD, then
use iMovie to import the music from that CD.

iMovie 3 (and the other iLife programs) can work with protected AAC music
just fine. You must install QuickTime 6.2 first, however.

Nope -- AAC files are protected and can't be exported via QT Pro.
