When you make a real time recorded DVD+R on a standalone recorder you 
have to "finalize" it. This makes it playable and is like a finishing 
touch for the table of contents and formatting,
That aside, just because a specfic drive accepts more different formats 
of dsc will that have any effect on the programs content or what you can 
do with the disc or is it just the ability to use what is available and 
cheap?
