Sony TRV-33 16:9?

Hello,

for some time I have been considering what good single CCD to buy. I 
was looking at the canon ZR-60 but after hearing the bad reviews and 
horror stories I decided to not bother with it. I am thinking of either 
the Sony TRV-19 or 33. My main issue is with shooting 16:9. I am 
assuming the TRV-33 does not have true 16:9 What would be the 
difference shooting with a TRV-19 with an aspect ratio of 4:3 and then 
just letter boxing it in Final Cut Express? I mean if the TRV-33 
doesn't have true 16:9 anyway. The reason I am asking is this is for a 
indie flick I am putting together and a wide screen look is preferred 
when viewing at film festivals on wide screens.
