Video shot on a Still Digital Camera

My daughter recently took about 20 seconds of video of her two year old 
son on her still camera, but unfortunately , she held the camera in a 
vertical position instead of the landscape position.  As a consequence 
the movie is 90 degrees out of whack.

Can anyone suggest how she may save the footage so that each frame can 
be viewed normally, in lieu of turning one's head on the side?  She is 
using a PC with Pentax software to save the images from her Pentax 
Optio camera.   The footage she has taken is worth going to some 
trouble with.
