Panasonic DV953

I'm wondering if anyone has actual experience with the Panasonic DV953. 
  It's a 3-CCD camcorder that offers t.c., and a host of other prosumer 
features.   And, since it offers IEEE-1394 output I'm assuming it also 
will work with Mac iMovie and Final Cut Express.  Anyone have 
experience with this one?
