There's a bunch of tricks for minimizing the effects of mis-matched 
sync, but none compare to finding a LCD monitor and filming that.  
Alternatively, if you just need to display the computer display on the 
screen, consider a utility such as Ambrosia's SnapzX, which will record 
the display to a quicktime file that you can drop into your video 
editing program of choice.
