Cross-platform Quicktime issues

I have a Powerpoint (Office X) presentation that I made and show on the 
Mac.
It has several Quicktime movies embedded- a standard video clip, a QTVR 
and a 3D animation that was exported to Quicktime.
When I play it on a PC the Quicktime pieces don't play.
We tried to download and install Quicktime on the PC with partial 
success.

Has anyone had experience in solving these cross-platform Quicktime 
issues and, if not, does anyone know of the appropriate forum to ask 
this question?
