James,

Thanks for the reply.  I try to film a scene (Hawaiian lesson) from the 
PB screen and to cut the surrounding noises out, I try also to copy the 
sound via the audio out to the tripod audio in on the camera.  If I 
follow the manual from the camera it should work, but it doesn't.  If I 
use the mic from the camera as in, I need some extra cable.  There 
should be a device (from Beachtek) on the market, but it will cost me 
169$ from B&H.  I just wanted to give it all a try and see if I could 
do it.  I also have to see the taped movie which might not be of very 
good quality.
