I have a G4 867mhz single processor Quicksilver which came with a Pioneer AO3 superdrive in it. Some months ago the AO3 went belly up and refused to read CD roms or audio CDs. I replaced it with a Pioneer DVR 105 aka AO5 from a non Apple vendor and it burns from the finder, from iDVD and from Toast with absolutely no problems. Thats the way Apple does things. Right.
