For getting into FCP, I'd recommend Michael Rubin's "Beginner's Final Cut Pro". It gets you going, ignoring all the second, third and forth way to do things, and focusses on getting you used to using it. Very hands on. From there you can learn all the other stuff from those other books. Daniel
