A course that's not obscenely > expensive, preferably... As the chair of a Community College department that teaches Final Cut Pro (amongst a host of other film-style video, television and audio concepts and technologies) I humbly suggest that you look to your local Community Colleges as a location for education in FCP. Community Colleges are good for lots of stuff, including inexpensive courses in (usually) the latest and greatest software and hardware. I might also suggest that Final Cut isn't the only thing you need to know relative to making that film that's inside of you. Some other courses in pre-production (script-writing, storyboarding, etc) and production would also be tremendously useful in helping you realize your dream. Now that I've said that, I'll put in a shameless plug for my program at College of DuPage in suburban Chicago. See <www.cod.edu/media> for more info. Good luck! Jeff Curto Professor College of DuPage
