Several days ago I posted a question about how slow things were when trying to edit the sound volume in iMovie4. I thought this was an iMovie4 problem since I had never had this problem with iMovie3 so I tried doing the sound editing in 3 but had the same problems. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong? I use a separate 80g partition for my movie editing. I did have two projects on that partition so I moved the second one off to give me more free space. I have now only have 60min. worth of movie on the partition. I ran Disk Utility and checked the drive and fixed the permissions on the boot drive. I also ran MacJanitor and still things are slow. This is the first project that I extracted the audio from the clips, could this be the reason for the slow down? I have the same problem when editing the volume of some music that I imported from iTunes, not just the extracted audio. Any thoughts? Eric
