WAV and AIFF are the formats used on the *COMPUTER* side of things -- either to burn to CD or rip from them. WAV and AIFF files are merely a means of transportation for the audio data in the computer realm -- they're all the same 1s and 0s, just in different "wrapper" formats. - Mark
