FCP and total capturing time

Hi All,

I just installed FCP and pointed the scratch disk at my second, 180 
gig HD. FCP pro tells me this will allow me to capture 30 minutes of 
video. Quite frankly, this isn't nearly enough time. I have about 2 
hours of video i plan on capturing in about 10 minutes increments 
(They're 8mm movies now on DV).

I guess my question is, does 180 gigs really limit me to a grand 
total of 30 minutes of capture? Or once i capture my first 30 minutes 
and save will i be allowed more capture time?

I'm a FCP newbie, it seems i'll be in the market for A LOT MORE 
external drives!
