iDVD3 Hickups

OK, my 60 to 90 minute problem seemed to fix itself.

But, now I'm having troubles with motion in the buttons. Sometimes it 
works as it should (and did for me in the past), but then sometimes, I 
get this white strip at the top and can't even make out what part of 
the video I'm in. Then, sometimes it will fix itself (after a long 
wait). But, if I try to fine tune it again, it does the white strip 
thing again.

I'm wondering if any of these hickups might be because the project is 
on my external drive. Should that matter? Any thoughts?
