You are correct Sir!!! (as Ed McMahon used to say to the Great Karnac)!!! Using an imac SE 400 and/or Pismo 400 w/a LaCie DVD burner...+R burns will not play in either of these systems, but will play in any other systems (An Apex desktop, a Phillips desktop player/burner and a Polaroid compact 7" player)...The +R's are ejected from both computers..Along w/+RW's, they will mount in the LaCie but will not run at all....I got a pack of -R's yesterday to try and they will work in the computers....The drawback that I have found is that the -R's are only 1X vs the 2x of the +R's...The DVD's are all Verbatim's...No coasters after burning a bunch succssfully...Sam's club sells the +R's for about $1.50 each and the -R's for about $1.90.... I think WalMart's price for 3 -R's is about $10.00 Regards, Mike K Mark M. Florida wrote: > My hunch is that the problem is caused by the disc media -- is it a DV+R > ("PLUS R") disc, by chance?
