iMovie 4 and GeeThree Slick volumes

Anyone heard about compatibility/performance issues between iMovie 4 and the
GeeThree Slick volumes?  I have Slick Volume 4 running with iMovie 3.03 and
have been reluctant to upgrade to iMovie 4.  A friend installed v. 4 (after
renaming iMovie 3 in order to keep it on his Panther machine), but it didn't
appear that the Slick Volume 4 plug-ins worked.  He then launched iMovie
3.03 and it didn't appear that it the Slick Vol. 4 stuff worked there
anymore.  Trying to find out if he did something wrong before installing
iMovie 4, or if there's a legitimate compatibility issue.
