I'm surprised at this assessment. I have been super satisfied with the clarity of the Canon ZR cameras indoors. The only image I like better comes from a 3 chip Sony. Once the white balance is manually set for good color temperature on the Canon's, everything comes out cleanly even in fluorescent settings. I wonder, do you have the image stabilizer on when you are dissatisfied with quality? You won't need it on a tripod mount. R. B.
