I use sticky labels, as I find them still the best. At least if I make a mistake in the printing, it's just a paper label and I can trash it. To date I have had no problems with labels coming off when in the player. The only thing I would say is buy as good as you can afford. I have a template set up in Photoshop and QuarkXpress. All I do then is drop in the artwork for the new DVD and tell it to print. I get 2 labels on a sheet. I use an applicator I bought when I first started to label CDs. You pop the printed label onto it, sticky side up and then place the CD/DVD on top face side down and press... (The name of the applicator I use is 'PressIT' http://www.pressit.com) You can use the system with any type printer as far as I am aware. All the labels are on sheets of A4.
