Windows Media Player

Dear video enthusiasts,

Quick question. I have version 9.0 of Windows Media Player on my I-Book 
G4. Can never seem to get .wmv files to play, at least not off of a web 
page. The file downloads, but then I just get the sound, with a black 
screen. Is this a faulty plug-in, or do I just have to toggle a switch 
that I haven't noticed?
