July 12th Boston "HD in Motion" Event

The Boston Final Cut Pro User Group and Boris FX invite you to join us 
on Monday, July 12th, from 6:30pm -9:30pm, at PARRIS in Boston's 
Faneuil Hall, for "HD in MOTION."  Celebrate Boston's HD filmmaking and 
motion design community with a few cocktails while networking with 
media professionals.  See powerful new features in Final Cut Pro HD, 
Boris Continuum Complete and Motion, Apple's new high-performance 
motion graphic design and production application.

Doors open at 6pm and presentations will begin at 6:30pm. A cash bar 
and Hors D’oeuvres will be available throughout the evening. After the 
presentations, stay to socialize and party to DJ music with your peers 
and pick the brains of industry gurus.

You must register to attend this event, which is free to the public. A 
$5 donation lets you participate in our Raffle. Prizes include the Aja 
Io LD, 30+ Motion Overview classes, iPod Minis loaded with royalty-free 
stock footage, Boris Continuum Complete, plus other training and 
hardware, software and books.

PRESENTATIONS
- Dion Scoppettuolo of Apple presents the BOSTON PREMIER OF MOTION, the 
only motion graphics package with real-time previews, procedural 
behavior animation and Final Cut Pro HD integration.

- Members of the New England Aquarium's Conservation Department will 
discuss their in-house HD production using the Panasonic Varicam, Aja 
Kona HD capture card and Final Cut Pro HD. Learn how they combine HD 
cinema with the IMAX film experience.

- Jeff Merritt of Panasonic will present the HD-over-FireWire 
capabilities of the AJ-HD1200A VTR and the revolutionary use of native 
VariCam compression in FCP HD. 

- Anne Renehan of Boris FX presents Boris Continuum Complete 3 
integrated into Motion and Final Cut Pro HD. Boris Yamnitsky (yes the 
Boris!) will also be available to answer questions.
