The Prefs you need to delete are the User/Library/Prefs: apple.com/finalcutpro/plist Then scroll down to Final Cut Pro User Data folder and trash the FCP Pref and FCP POA cache. Then fix permissions. That's if it's a FCP corruption problem. It could be your OS. Fixing permissions is a good idea.
