FCP4 & Griffin Power Mate

Could someone who is using a Griffin Power Mate with FCP advise what 
settings they have made to obtain optimum use please?

FWIW,  those of you that live in the USA certainly get  better computer 
  deals  than here in Australia  eg. the price of the Power Mate is 
advertised as $US45 in the USA  whereas here it is $A149. ( the current 
exchange rate is around $A1 = $US0.75).
