I initially had the same problems you describe with my Devideon 106D burner, but not the extensive error messages you received. My disks would burn for 30 seconds and mysteriously stop and eject. I've had good sucess using Toast - if 4 burns can be called good sucess. However, I'm using the -R media. The +R seemed to be part of the problem. I know the 106D is supposed to burn both -R and +R but I'm not convinced yet.
