QuickTime supports quite a few, ranging from awful quality but low bandwidth (the ol' Cinepak codec), to really great quality but still low bandwidth (Sorensen 3 or MPEG-4). You can find out what codec the QuickTime file uses by opening it in QuickTime Player and getting info on it (command-i). The latest versions of Windows Media are (I hate to say it) really good -- the latest Windows Media video codec is really efficient, so the quality is great, and the file is still small. Even though Cleaner 6 only encodes for Windows Media 7, I guess it's still pretty good. > Any ideas? (I have not tried Compressor yet.) I guess you've used Cleaner, but not Compressor? I have used Cleaner A LOT, but never used Compressor. You should be able to get a really good-looking QuickTime movie using the Sorensen 3 codec -- but probably not by using the built-in presets (you'll have to do some tweaking). Does that help? - Mark
