Thanks to all. I can indeed listen to the sound through my vcr and the monitor, although I was hoping to use the monitor as the second screen in FCE. It puzzles me that I can't play an edited movie on the copmputer alone and hear the sound from the computer speakers. I mean, not just while capturing but also when just playing through. Is this correct?
