Religion, politics, economics and anything other than learning about 
digital video are all completely out of place on this discussion 
forum.There are hundreds of sites to vent your spleen, do it where it 
is appropriate, please.
I am disheartened to see that when a writer raises off list topics they 
  elicit more replies than the genuine enquirers who wish to increase 
their knowledge of MacDV.
I hope that listas will learn to treat these out of place 
"contributions" with the contempt they deserve, and ignore them, for 
they are abusing us who wish to grow and learn.
