[MacDV] Re Canon camcorders

I had no idea so many people have had problems with Canon camcorders.

Other than a few quirks between the canon and an Emac and external 
firewire hard drives (we always download dv to the Emac internal now to 
avoid any issues), there haven't been any audio sync issues or 
otherwise after about 300 hours.

Granted, we use the XM1 to rewind and download the video it records - 
but touch wood it's still running well.
