Portfolio BLOWS! There are some other asset-management apps that are SOOOO much better *and* easier to use: iView Media (for basic needs) and iView MediaPro (for advanced users): http://www.iview-multimedia.com/ Mediaboard ONE (a fairly new app that looks very nice): http://www.mediaboardone.com/ Anyway, after wasting my company's money on Portfolio 7 and Suitcase X1, I will not give Extensis any more of our money, and cannot recommend Extensis products to anyone. As usual, YMMV, but Portfolio 7 runs S-L-O-W on my Dual 2.5 GHz G5 with 2.5 GB of RAM -- I can't imagine what it would run like on lesser systems. - Mark On Aug 18, 2005, at 9:02 PM, John Collins wrote: > FYI-- > > There has been recent discussion on the topic of digital file (photo & > video) organization and cataloging. > > My primary interest has been how to organize my photo collections and > now I am working to learn & use Extensis's Portfolio software--I want > to inform you that I have started a new Yahoo list on the subject.
