I agree with Nick on this one Only useful if you do not have a Mac with iLife. The final menu look is ugly as sin when you use the disk, Plus you are recording to Mpg2 which is inferior in quality on your primary recording medium! This is not for any sort of serious work but more of a consumer toy. With DVD Camcorders, editing is much crippled in that you first have to rip the DVD to your hard drive, then you have to convert it to DV, then you can import it to your app for editing. This is MPEG 2 compressed video remember, Not worth getting. Not now, probably not ever.
