Okay, so whatever has an RCA output can go into the ADVC-100. From there it goes into the computer. How? Via Firewire, USB...? That would take a phonograph, into a pre-amp I suspect, thence into the converter...and into the computer. No special card needed? Just the converter. Same with a cassette player. RCA out, into the converter...into the computer? And for a VHS machine. Yellow video and Red and White audios...into the converter...then into the converter, etc? Am I correct so far? ====== May I look at it another way? Can I also use my DSR-11. Would it be best to use it to record to DV tapes...or merely pass through to the Firewire port, thence into the computer? I appreciate your feedback all! Lanny
