I'm afraid I haven't done this in many years. I don't even have any
audio components to test with at this point.

I was using iMovie 2 to do this the last time and sadly it seems to be
more flexible than the current versions. It just brought in whatever
you hooked up to it... I see iMovie HD does not...

So perhaps I spoke out of turn...
