[MacDV] Re: Quicktime .mov files - cannot transfer

Is it that the files don't play when you drag them to the external 
drive or that they don't show up on the external drive.  If the case is 
that they are not playing it may be that you don't have self contained 
QT files and they no longer see the underlying video files.
